Green Fingers in Wiggins Class!

We have been working very hard recently transforming the area around the school pond. After much digging, we know have a mini allotment where we are growing beetroot, celery, beans, sweetcorn, marrows, lettuce and peas. We have great plans for the rest of the ground, including a wild flower area to attract insects. A special thank you must go out to Howdens who donated £250 to our project.

In Wiggins Class we are also enjoying our trips into the local area every Tuesday. We have visited Tesco, the library and the park and plan to go a little further afield in the next few weeks. We are also spending lots of time in the school kitchen as we develop our culinary skills! The children are so busy and embrace everything we do.

Let’s hope the next term is as great as our last one!

Keep up the great work  DSP!
