Eat Your Greens!

Wow! This week saw us harvest, and eat, our first vegetables from our mini allotment. We made super healthy sandwiches and added our school-grown lettuce and chives with a few mange tout on the side! It was great for us all to see how the hard work has paid off. Luckily, the lettuces have been so successful that all the children managed to take one  home to enjoy with their families over the weekend. We were thrilled with the thank you email sent by the governors of Simon de Senlis, who recognised the transformation the children have made to the pond area.

We have been hearing stories from around the world over the past few weeks and have been doing some great sketches and paintings inspired by them. I wonder if you might be able to find a story from another country in a book at home or in the library?

Have a fantastic weekend and enjoy the school fete.
