Fun in the sun!

What a lovely week Wiggins Class have had. We have worked very hard in our school garden in readiness for our visit from the Northampton In Bloom judges on Wednesday. Having acquired a new hosepipe recently, it was only fair that I watered the children along with the flowers and vegetables, it was very hot after all!

On Friday afternoon we took a trip to Sywell Country Park. We have been learning about seaside holidays in the past and so went to play in the sand and imagine we were at the beach. This was quite easy as the weather was beautiful. The children played so well together showing their fabulous social skillsĀ  and sense of fun.

Picnic Time

On Friday Wiggins and Robinson Class were invited to East Hunsbury Primary School for a picnic and play with their SU and the SU from Headlands Primary School. The sun shone and we played in the spinney with lots of new friends. It was a wonderful day and I was so proud of the children, many of whom approached the other children, introduced themselves and asked if they wanted to join in their games. What a privilege to be one of our SU teachers. Thank you to all the children.
